Roof tile coatings have a similar formulation to the emulsion paints used for exterior walls or facades. Like exterior emulsion paints, outstanding weather stability and alkali resistance are essential. LANXESS pigments fulfill these requirements. They are exceptionally lightfast and weather-resistant, so that the chosen shade is retained over many years. Even on old paintwork the roof tile coatings have excellent adhesion, provided the substrate is stable and in reasonable condition.

Because of the high covering power of LANXESS pigments, the desired color shade can be achieved with the first coat of paint. Thereby, outstanding results at economical cost are ensured.
